Crocus blooming in Morris Park. This plant is a Eurasian and North African native that has been cultivated as an ornamental, and has escaped into natural areas. In Morris Park it is spreading slowly within the forest. This plant has no ecological relationships with the native species of the forest and is out of place in this context.
