Trillium grandiflorum in cultivation

Anout 10 years ago a friend of ours gave us some extra trilliums from her garden. We planted them near the house against a back wall in a cozy, secluded spot. Knowing that trilliums like to be in protected ravines made me feel like this spot was a good place. I was right! The Trilliums have been thriving here, and they make me think of a deep lush ravine or steep rich hillside somewhere in Ohio.
