This afternoon, against the gray backdrop of the winter forest, two Cardinals perched on a tree branch adding some color to the scene.

Today, we are featuring the young Beech tree which retains its leaves through the winter. They provide a distinctive atmosphere and dimension to the forest in the winter months.m
